Design of the Power Amplifiers

The RMS TGE13 series power amplifiers are modular units. They consist of plug-in modules ranging from 5 kVA to 22 kVA that can be expanded within 19” control cabinets. These feature a high degree of protection against water and dust, combined with appropriate contact protection according to DIN-EN standards. A conservative system design as well as active ventilation and exhaust of the cabinets ensure operation of the system at room temperatures of up to over 30°C. OEM versions with the customer’s front panel are available.

Oil temperature control from RMS enables smooth operation in combination with climate chambers from -40° to +120°C in continuous use: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Only V-bearings specifically developed by us are used in RMS slip tables. These V-bearings are designed to function without jamming even in extreme temperature ranges and to absorb disturbing moments!

Weight-efficient magnesium alloy
Competitors swear by aluminum – we use the best: high-strength and weight-optimized magnesium alloy for the best testing performance. More power for the test specimen and better test results at the same time. Absolute lightweight construction for high payload.

Vibration damping
RMS slip table systems use granite plates to dampen unwanted vibrations of the mounting plate.

Emergency-run sleeve bearings
All RMS slip tables feature emergency-run properties: short-term bearing seizures are tolerated. This makes our slip tables absolutely low-maintenance and robust. The positive results are less downtime and lower costs.

Slip table dimensions
Thanks to the modular design, we already offer a wide range of standard systems today. The product range extends from 600 mm x 600 mm to 2500 mm x 2500 mm.
