Horizontal vibration testing requires specialized slip table systems. These slip tables are coupled to the shakers, thus enabling tests of large and heavy test specimens in their installed position in a horizontal direction.
The hydrostatically guided V-bearings are an RMS advancement. They absorb disruptive lever moments (yaw, roll, and pitch moments), allowing even heavy test objects to be reliably tested. At the same time, they have been specifically designed for use in conjunction with temperature tests. They operate absolutely reliably even at extreme temperatures from -40° Celsius to 120° Celsius and beyond – and for days on end. Optional chamber connections made of GRP and special silicone thermal barriers for all common temperature chambers make RMS slip tables versatile and combinable. Simultaneously, system-inherent transverse movements at resonance points are minimized with a perfectly adjusted damping system.
We also rely on a modular design for our slip tables, allowing us to respond flexibly to your requirements. Of course, all RMS slip tables are optimally matched to RMS vibration test systems. However, they can fundamentally be combined with any vibration test system.
For use in explosive atmospheres, we have developed a special slip table for ATEX systems that safely protects your employees, your products, and your infrastructure even in hazardous environments.
High-Performance Oil Temperature Control
RMS oil temperature control enables smooth operation in combination with climatic chambers from -40° to +120° C in continuous use: 24 hours, 7 days a week. For special applications, significantly more is, of course, possible.
Optimized V-Bearings
Only specially developed RMS V-bearings are used in RMS slip tables. These V-bearings are designed to function without jamming even in extreme temperature ranges and to absorb disruptive moments.
Weight-Efficient Magnesium Alloy
Competitors swear by aluminum – we only swear by the best: high-strength and weight-optimized magnesium alloys for best test performance. More power for the test specimen and simultaneously better test results. Absolute lightweight construction for high payload.
Vibration Damping
RMS slip table systems use granite plates to dampen unwanted vibrations of the mounting plate. The structural design of the V-bearings also has a damping effect on the system.
Emergency Run Bearings
All RMS slip tables feature emergency running properties: short-term bearing jams are tolerated. This makes our slip tables absolutely low-maintenance and robust. The positive consequences are less downtime and lower costs.

Thanks to the modular design, we already offer a wide range of standard systems today. The product range extends from 600mm x 600mm to 2500mm x 2500mm.
